Coaxial Rotary Unions

Talco, LLC manufactures and customizes a variety of coaxial rotary unions (also know as coaxial rotary joints or coaxial swivel joints) for liquid or gas transfer.

These multi-passage coaxial rotary unions consist of our 8000 series and the 9300 series rotary unions.

Rotary unions, sometimes also called rotary valves or rotary manifolds, are used in a wide range of manufacturing and other processes to permit the flow of heat transfer media, such as steam, water, thermal and hydraulic oil, or coolant, from a stationary supply pipe to a moving part such as a rotating drum or cylinder. The liquid or gas medium is contained within the rotary union or joint with the use of a mechanical seal and seal ring. Talco, LLC manufactures rotary unions in stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel.

Both our 8000 series and our 9300 series multi-passage coaxial rotary unions can feature an NPT or BSP thread, and a steel rotor and aluminum housing (and can be constructed entirely in stainless steel, if desired, for especially tough environments). They come with both American and Metric specifications. Applications of these rotary unions include the transfer of a variety of process fluids such as industrial chemicals, high temperature oils, water, coolant and others.

We at Talco, LLC are also happy to do custom work. Just give us the specifications for the special custom rotary joint or coolant union your application requires. We specialize in adapting our products to fit your machines, temperature ranges and pressure requirements. Contact our engineering department with your needs.
