The Single-Passage Rotary Union 2300 series, also
know as the Single-Passage Rotary Joint, or swivel
has been designed to handle higher pressures and low
RPM’s. Talco, Inc. offers a unique single-passage
rotary union design that incorporates the use of a
backup “O” ring and filled Teflon Slipper
Seals. This outstanding design results in a
prolonged product life and unsurpassed efficiency
and reliability over standard “O” ring
designs. These Swivel Joints are designed for non-continuous
rotation, and are used on Hose Reels and in Car Wash
applications.
The recommended operation specifications for the 2300 Series of Single-Passage Rotary Union in American Units is for a Maximum Air Pressure of 200 PSI, a Maximum Vacuum of 28” Hg, Hydraulic Pressure of 5000 PSI, a Maximum Temperature of 400 Degrees Fahrenheit and a Maximum Speed of 400 RPM.
Metric Units would be a Maximum Air Pressure of 14
bar, Maximum Vacuum of 90kPa, Maximum Hydraulic Pressure
of 344 bar, Maximum Temperature of 200 Degrees Celsius
and a Maximum Speed of 400 RPM. To prolong the
life of the single-passage rotary union, it is recommended
to avoid operating at both Maximum Pressure and Maximum
Speed at the same time.
All Single-Passage Rotary Unions in the 2300 Series are available with options such as NPT or BSP Thread, Right- or Left-Hand Thread on Rotor and Brass Rotor and Housing. All Stainless Steel Construction, to provide outstanding corrosive deterrent, is available upon request.
Single-passage rotary union models are available
in both American and Metric Units in varying sizes
and all are CAD and RFQ Interface Enabled. Sizes
